The Anna Maria Island Privateers are pleased and honored to announce these fine establishments have graciously offered to be our host hotels for the Pirate Invasion Weekend. Both establishments offer comparable rates but have a few differences from each other, so you can choose which hotel “suits your fancy” or as we pirates say, “shivers your timbers.” We changed the hotels names just a wee bit to fit into our Pirate Invasion theme…

Port Royal: Compass Margaritaville Hotel, Anna Maria Sound

Compass Margaritaville Hotel, associated with the world-famous entertainer Jimmy Buffett, offers marina and water views, they have a bar and grill located in their lobby, a spectacular outdoor pool, and are next door to Floridays Restaurant. The hotel concierge can book your boat charters, floating tiki bar cruises as well as sight-seeing tours like a sunset tour or dolphin watching tour.

Rates per night:

Preserve View—$169.00 per night plus hotel fees and taxes

Marina View—$189.00 per night plus hotel fees and taxes

Port Tortuga: Anna Maria Island Resorts

Anna Maria Island Resorts offers 2 different establishments that you and your Mateys can stay in. Port Tortuga also offers a private beach across the street from the hotels. Both hotels have pools as well. These hotels are located on the main road on the Island and very close to shopping and food establishments, Port Tortuga is within close proximity to Bridge Street which offers food, entertainment, shopping, and adult libations. One important note: these hotels have a 10pm quiet time due to being so close to the beach and it being turtle season

Rates per night:

$145.oo plus hotel fees and taxes for a second-floor hotel room that sleeps 2ish people.  Please enter the code 080422 when reserving your room to ensure that you get the Invasion rate.
