The blood drive is the Anna Maria Island Privateers' largest fundraiser. For each unit of blood donated in the name of the Anna Maria Island Privateers, the organization will receive $100.00 from a local anonymous private foundation. The foundation's mission is to fill the blood banks and to help local charities, all at the same time. The Privateers' thank all of you that have donated, the sponsors and to the wonderful people with the foundation that have made this event possible for the past 10 years.
